I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing man Louis Crandall, who is the founder of Provo's Crandall Historic Printing Museum. He welcomed me warmly into his Museum. Above is a photograph of Louis standing in front of the only fully working authentic Gutenberg Press with a complete set of the actual movable type made in the same manner as in the 15th Century Gutenberg Print Shop.

Anatomy
A year ago I created a series that I called Illuminated Vegetables. In this project I utilized the technique of light painting. I decided to further my study by analyzing the anatomical structure of vegetables. I cross-sectioned the vegetables and photographed them from all angles individually. Then I presented the objects by compositing them together in a line.
Here are 2 of the Studies.
Anatomy of an Artichoke
Anatomy of a Habanero Pepper
